A well-established regional law firm is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to support attorneys handling a broad range of commercial real estate transactions and property-related matters. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative legal team on sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fully in-office/100% on-site position providing hands-on exposure to all phases of litigation.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The ideal candidate will have 5 years of related legal experience in a corporate legal department or law firm setting and have substantial experience supporting real estate transactions from initial document preparation through closing. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working directly with attorneys and transaction stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Draft and prepare real estate-related documents, including leases, purchase agreements, easements, deeds, and other transactional materials
- Review and analyze legal descriptions, surveys, title commitments, title opinions, and related title documentation
- Assist with due diligence review and summarize key findings from real estate and title documents
- Prepare and coordinate closing documentation for attorney review, including escrow instructions, affidavits, closing certificates, and settlement materials
- Support all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including title and survey review and drafting title objection correspondence
- Proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with transaction requirements
- Organize and maintain transaction files and assist with closing coordination
- Provide additional legal and administrative support as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience supporting commercial real estate transactions and related documentation
- Strong understanding of title, survey, and real estate due diligence review
- Excellent proofreading, organizational, and document management skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Paralegal certificate preferred
