OCONUS Construction Security Manager- Active Top Security Clearance Required

AED Stratecon is seeking a Construction Security Manager (CSM) to support overseas construction projects in Europe and the Middle East. This role is responsible for overseeing site security operations, ensuring contractor compliance, and implementing security requirements in classified construction environments.

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee physical, personnel, and information security for overseas construction sites.

· Apply the OBO Security Classification Guide to design and construction activities at overseas facilities.

· Ensure contractor and subcontractor compliance with all site security requirements across project buildings.

· Manage the entry and exit of personnel, issuing numbered badges, and preventing the entry of unauthorized items like cameras or personal cell phones

· Visually inspecting all construction materials to ensure no technical surveillance devices are hidden within before items cross the secure perimeter

· Continuously monitoring the job site and photographing structural changes, wall penetrations, and material installations to document the build

· Collaborate on a day-to-day basis with OBO SSM/SSO

· Verify onsite personnel meet contract-specific security requirements and report compliance issues to the Corporate Facility Security Officer (FSO).

· Conduct security inspections and coordinate with project and government stakeholders as needed.

Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years of experience managing security and information protection at domestic and overseas sites.

· Working knowledge of OBO security requirements for overseas facilities.

· Extensive experience in construction security, physical security, or SCIF (Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility) construction

· Understanding of the Project Security Requirements and Labor Matrix

· Experience managing contractor security compliance in construction environments.

· Active Top Secret security clearance.
