At Advocate Support Services, our Rehabilitation Specialists are more than supervisors—they are the clinical backbone of our PRP program, ensuring services are person-centered, compliant, and truly transformative.
We are seeking a strong, experienced leader who can take ownership of clinical direction, staff development, and program quality.
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will serve as the clinical authority for the PRP program, ensuring that every service delivered aligns with recovery goals, regulatory standards, and measurable outcomes.
You will:
- Lead and oversee clinical service delivery, including assessments, IRPs, and discharge decisions
- Provide direct supervision and coaching to PRP Case Workers to ensure quality, engagement, and accountability
- Ensure compliance with COMAR 10.63 and CARF Behavioral Health Standards across all services
- Drive person-centered, recovery-oriented care with measurable outcomes
- Support team performance to ensure clients receive consistent, meaningful services in the community
- CPRP OR LCSW-C OR LCPC (required)
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff in a clinical or behavioral health setting
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation and community-based services
- Proven ability to manage documentation, compliance, and clinical quality
You are:
- A decisive clinical leader who takes ownership—not a passive reviewer
- Comfortable holding staff accountable while also coaching and developing them
- Organized, efficient, and committed to high standards of documentation and care
- Passionate about helping adults with mental health challenges achieve independence
This is not a “paperwork-only” leadership position.
In this role, you will:
- Directly shape the quality and integrity of an entire PRP program
- Mentor and grow a team of case workers into high-performing professionals
- Play a critical role in ensuring client outcomes—not just compliance metrics
- A leadership role with real authority and impact
- A highly structured organization that values clarity, accountability, and support
- Opportunities to influence program growth, quality improvement, and innovation
- A mission-driven team committed to doing the work the right way
We believe:
- Clinical leadership matters
- Staff need structure, clarity, and support to succeed
- Clients deserve more than minimum standards—they deserve meaningful progress
