Are you passionate about helping adults reclaim their independence, build life skills, and move toward meaningful recovery?
At Advocate Support Services, we don’t just “check boxes”—we change lives. We’re looking for a motivated, compassionate, and accountable PRP Counselor / Case Worker who thrives in the community, values autonomy, and wants to be part of a mission-driven team.
As a PRP Counselor, you will work one-on-one with adults living with mental health challenges, delivering services directly in the community.
Your impact will include:
- Supporting clients in achieving real-life goals (employment, housing stability, daily living skills)
- Providing strength-based coaching and skill-building interventions
- Meeting with clients in the community at least 5 times per month to ensure meaningful engagement
- Leading and participating in group rehabilitation activities
- Documenting progress in a way that reflects quality, compliance, and clinical value
- Collaborating with supervisors and team members to drive outcomes—not just visits
This is not a desk job. This is hands-on, relationship-driven work where:
- You manage your schedule with high accountability and independence
- Every day looks different—you’re in the field, not stuck in an office
- You directly see the impact of your work on someone’s life
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field (preferred) or relevant experience in mental health
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to a team
- CPRP certification (a plus, not required)
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally
- A mission-driven culture that prioritizes both client outcomes and staff support
- Structured supervision, team collaboration, and ongoing development
- Flexibility and autonomy within a high-accountability environment
- The opportunity to build a meaningful career in psychiatric rehabilitation
At Advocate Support Services, we believe:
- People deserve dignity, opportunity, and real support
- Staff deserve clarity, structure, and respect
- Outcomes matter—and we equip you to achieve them
