What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehabilitation Specialist position at Dundalk PRP Office?
Seeking a licensed and qualified Rehabilitation Specialist for growing Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. This is primarily a remote/virtual position. Preference will be given to fully licensed and/or certified to provide rehabilitation oversight for both adults and children. The Rehabilitation Specialist must be able to provide ongoing in-service training to line staff, to develop and complete Individual Rehabilitation Plans and assessments, and to assist the Program Director in guiding the program through national re-accreditation with CARF and/or Joint Commission. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience monitoring mental health and Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program counselors. This individual would be responsible to work as a team performing assessments, completing treatment plans in a timely manner, reading and monitoring counselor notes for accuracy, and providing reports to the Program Director for Quality Assurance.
Duties Include:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the needs and goals of clients
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources
Requirements:
-LCPC, LCSW-C, CFPRP, CPRP & LCSW (Must have proof of certification)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Certification or licensure in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field (preferred)
- Experience working with individuals with mental health conditions or disabilities
- Knowledge of art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients
- 1 or more years of PRP experience
- Ability to monitor PRP line staff
-Provide input to Program Director and CEO on employee improvement and employee evaluation processes
