A successful midtown Manhattan based real estate owner, developer and manager of Class A commercial space is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records by coding and filing invoices, receipts, and related documents for efficient retrieval.
- Process vendor invoices and incoming payments while ensuring proper documentation and compliance.
- Conduct thorough reviews of vendor statements and reconcile discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage and oversee a portfolio of 100 vendor accounts, ensuring timely invoice processing and payment submission.
- Ensure all outgoing payments are aligned with internal controls by reviewing documentation for accuracy and validity.
- Handle weekly check runs, including printing, reviewing, matching with invoices, and preparing purchase orders for approval.
- Generate customer invoices in accordance with company billing schedules and established receivable terms.
- Monitor accounts regularly to confirm payments are made on time and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to invoice inconsistencies through research and coordination with vendors.
- Post journal entries and manage invoice data entry with a focus on minimizing errors and maintaining accuracy.
- Perform audits on billing entries to verify accurate codes, calculations, and data integrity.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience with construction/development accounts payable.
- Polished and professional with the ability to interface with all levels of staff.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Yardi and/or AvidXchange or similar software experience is a plus.
Compensation (commensurate with experience level):$75k – $80k plus bonus, 401k match, comprehensive health benefits and many other valuable perks.
