Location: Ayer, MA
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Schedule: 3:15PM - 12:30AM
Overtime Available: Candidates should be prepared to work up to 50 hours per week. Including overtime on Saturdays.
We are hiring a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temporary opportunity in Ayer, MA. This role is ideal for experienced warehouse and logistics professionals who prioritize safety, accuracy, and productivity in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to move, transport, load, and store finished products
- Transport finished goods to designated warehouse locations
- Load empty pallets and storage flats/shells onto trucks for return shipment
- Tag, organize, and store completed pallets accurately
- Receive, sort, and store incoming materials according to established procedures
- Handle returned products and partial cases from route trucks
- Maintain inventory organization and safe storage practices
- Complete daily forklift inspection checklists and required documentation
- Communicate effectively with warehouse and production supervisors
- Assist with warehouse housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized work area
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Previous forklift, warehouse, material handling, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Ability to work overtime as needed
