Senior Mechanical Engineer (Direct Hire) - Franklin, MA

Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering design, integration, and product development initiatives
- Serve as technical authority across multiple programs
- Oversee the full product lifecycle, including the transition from prototype to production
- Conduct system-level analysis (tolerance studies, manufacturability, trade-offs)
- Drive engineering change management, configuration control, and design reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers
- Develop and implement engineering processes and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 7 years of mechanical engineering experience (12 preferred)
- Strong background in product lifecycle development and technical leadership
- Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (PTC Creo and/or SolidWorks)
- Experience with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and detailed technical drawings
- Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance (active Secret clearance required)
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced, evolving environments
Compensation
- Target salary: $110K-$180K (flexible based on experience)
