What are the responsibilities and job description for the Procurement Agent position at Advantage Technical?
Pay Rate: $36.00 - 40.00/hour
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred
* 1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or administrative support
* Experience supporting sourcing activities, supplier communications, and bid processes
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data tracking and reporting
* Experience with invoices, budget tracking, spend analysis, and cost reconciliation
* ERP experience, including SAP, is a plus
* Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
* Monitor and respond to procurement inbox inquiries
* Assist with RFIs, RFPs, service agreements, and procurement documentation
* Support supplier onboarding and vendor communication activities
* Collect and compare supplier quotes for sourcing projects
* Coordinate with internal teams to gather purchasing requirements
* Track spending and help identify cost-saving opportunities
* Research invoice-related issues and assist with approval processes
* Maintain spreadsheets, reporting, and procurement records
* Ability to work at a computer for extended periods
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office environment
