Position Title: Senior Fund Accountant

Location: Irvine, CA (On-site)

Assignment Type: Permanent Hire

Compensation: $90,000 – $100,000 Bonus

Work Schedule: M-F 9-5

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Fund Accountant to join a dynamic and fast-paced accounting team. This individual will play a key role in supporting fund-level accounting, financial reporting, and operational processes while collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, investor reports, and supporting schedules
• Assist with quarterly and annual reporting packages for stakeholders
• Support audit and tax processes, including coordination with external auditors and tax preparers
• Perform cash management activities, including cash projections and wire transfers
• Prepare and review bank reconciliations and oversee invoice processing
• Assist with debt compliance, lender reporting, and loan-related requirements
• Partner with internal teams to support transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions
• Respond to investor inquiries and prepare requested financial information
• Contribute to process improvements and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required
• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience within a large or fast-paced environment
• Prior public accounting experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
• Experience with ERP systems (MRI a plus)
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
