Job Title: Joint Interest Billing (JIB) Accountant
Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid)
Position Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

Pay: $70,000 - 85,000 annually
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process Joint Interest Billing (JIB) statements to working interest partners on a monthly basis
- Record and manage accounts receivable related to JIB, including monitoring balances and following up on outstanding partner payments
- Maintain and update JIB and revenue decks, including ownership changes and transfers of interest
- Assist with revenue accounting, including calculation and distribution of owner payments
- Perform monthly reconciliations of JIB, revenue, and related balance sheet accounts
- Research and resolve owner and partner inquiries regarding billings, revenues, and statements
- Ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with JOA agreements and company accounting policies
- Support month-end close and reporting related to JIB, revenue, and receivable activity
Qualifications:
- 3 years of oil and gas accounting experience, preferably with JIB and revenue functions
- Experience with joint interest billing and owner distributions
- Knowledge of oil and gas ownership structures, revenue decks, and JOAs
- Experience with oil and gas accounting software (Integra, Petroware, OGSYS, Enertia, WolfePak, or similar preferred)
- Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
