Job Description
Addison Group is partnering with our client, a growing consumer products organization, to hire an HR Manager. This role will support a dynamic, multi-state workforce and play a key part in strengthening day-to-day operations systems, and employee support functions. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on across multiple HR areas while contributing to ongoing process improvements and organizational initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary HR resource for employees, supporting questions related to benefits, compensation, and policies
- Partner closely with leadership to support recruiting efforts for non-executive roles across the organization
- Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on workplace concerns
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing HR systems, including support during open enrollment and other key cycles
- Contribute to policy updates, documentation, and communication across the organization
- Support teams with higher HR needs, including sales channels with commission-based structures
- Participate in ongoing organizational initiatives, including process improvements and global HR projects
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure consistent HR practices across a distributed workforce
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or HR Manager capacity
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
- Experience working with HRIS platforms (UKG or similar systems strongly preferred)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be locally based and able to commute to the Roanoke office
