Position: HR Business Partner

Location: Kansas City, MO

Pay: 70-80k

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support operations and partner closely with leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and performance outcomes. This role plays a key part in shaping talent strategy, leading employee relations, and enhancing HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt and professional roles, from sourcing through offer stage
• Partner with leadership to develop workforce plans and hiring strategies
• Oversee and manage the internship program, including recruitment, onboarding, and program coordination
• Oversee HR systems and ensure data accuracy and process efficiency
• Lead workforce analytics, reporting, and compliance activities (including EEO reporting)
• Manage HR communications and respond to employee inquiries
• Oversee company-wide benefits programs including health and retirement plans
• Manage open enrollment and employee education efforts
• Ensure compliance with all benefits-related regulations
• Lead talent assessment processes and support organizational talent reviews
• Partner with leadership to implement development initiatives and succession planning strategies
• Lead employee relations matters for employees, including investigations and conflict resolution
• Coach leaders on performance management, feedback, and employee development
• Support a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience
• Strong background in employee relations, performance management, and leadership coaching
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive business outcomes
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
