About our client:
Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a global consumer goods company, to support their US demand planning team. The team oversees forecasting for multiple brands, ensuring products are available at the right time while collaborating across sales, manufacturing, and international teams.
Job Description:
The Demand Coordinator will be responsible for building and maintaining robust demand forecasts, analyzing sales data, and providing actionable insights to improve forecast accuracy and service levels. This role requires strong analytical skills, SAP IBP proficiency, and the ability to communicate findings confidently with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts for multiple brands using SAP IBP
- Analyze sales trends, promotions, seasonality, and new product launches to refine forecasts
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure product availability
- Lead initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and service levels
- Prepare dashboards and reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Plan new SKU introductions and manage distribution
- Serve as the internal expert on demand planning insights
- Participate in internal meetings (~40%) and conduct independent analysis (~60%)
- Support US engagements and training sessions with international teams
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years supply chain experience, including at least 1 year in retail demand planning
- Proficiency in SAP (IBP preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
- Experience with IBP or similar forecasting tools
- Background in CPG or related industries
- Experience collaborating with international teams
