Corporate Litigation Counsel

Job Title: Litigation Counsel

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $230,000 - $290,000

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and parental leave

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active Arizona State Bar membership in good standing
• 5-7 years of civil litigation experience
• Experience in personal injury, commercial litigation, or other civil litigation practice areas preferred
• Exposure to motion practice, discovery, and case preparation
• Experience with mediation, arbitration, or trial preparation is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior attorneys in managing civil litigation matters from pre-suit investigation through resolution
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda related to litigation strategy, legal issues, and case evaluation
• Support motion practice, including drafting pleadings, motions, responses, and other court filings
• Assist with discovery, including drafting written discovery, reviewing document productions, and preparing discovery responses
• Participate in case strategy discussions and assist in preparing matters for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties involved in litigation
• Assist with case evaluation and factual investigations
• Maintain organized case files and manage deadlines in accordance with court rules and firm procedures
