The Senior Collections Representative will be responsible for managing collections for a designated region, handling payment disputes, and maintaining compliance with relevant lien and bond laws. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage collection efforts for accounts receivable within an assigned territory
- Conduct daily customer follow-ups and maintain clear documentation of collection activities
- Address and resolve payment discrepancies in collaboration with internal departments
- Hold regular update meetings with management and branch teams on outstanding accounts
- Prepare and submit lien notices and bond claims in accordance with state requirements
- Analyze project-level AR data and review for lien releases and waivers
- Ensure all legal documentation is properly executed and filed
- Monitor and report on collection performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
- 5 years of collections experience in construction or manufacturing
- At least 1 year of experience with Texas Notice Process
- Experience with lien releases, waivers, and bond claim processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
- Knowledge of mechanic’s lien laws and bond claim procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
