A company here in Oklahoma City is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations and ensure a seamless employee experience. This role plays a critical part in HR administration, employee onboarding, records management, and assisting with recruitment and employee engagement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related inquiries from employees and managers.
- Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
- Maintain and update employee records in HRIS and personnel files.
- Support recruitment by posting jobs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Assist in benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications.
- Prepare HR reports and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives, training sessions, and company events.
- Process employment verifications, I-9s, background checks, and other HR documentation.
- Collaborate with payroll and other departments to support HR-related processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of HR or administrative experience; HR internship experience will also be considered.
- Working knowledge of HR processes and labor laws is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); HRIS experience is an asset.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
