About the Role:
The practice is focused primarily on employment law matters, most often on the defense side, along with select related areas. This role is well-suited for an attorney who enjoys litigation, values strong writing, and is looking for a supportive, team-oriented culture.
Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal filings
- Support and manage cases through all phases of litigation, with an emphasis on motion practice
- Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy and client service
- Provide high-quality, ethical advocacy in representing clients
Qualifications:
- 1 years of recent employment litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail
- Client-focused, collaborative, and easy to work with
- Positive, grounded approach to work and team dynamics
- Active California Bar membership (must already be admitted)
Billable Expectations & Compensation:
- Annual billable requirement of 1,600 hours
- Opportunity for additional compensation through extra billable hours, if desired and available

- Occasional in-person appearances or meetings may be required depending on case needs

Salary : $160,000 - $220,000
