Maintenance Technician – Water Supply Operations
Location: Orlando, FL
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

Position Overview
Ad-Vance Talent Solutions is seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to support Eastern Regional Water Supply operations in Orlando, FL. This position involves performing a variety of maintenance, service and repair tasks on water supply equipment and systems, including pumps, lift stations, motors and pipe fittings.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on maintenance experience, basic mechanical knowledge and a background in electrical or plumbing work.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general maintenance, service and repair of water supply equipment and systems.
Assist with the maintenance and repair of pumps, lift stations, motors and related equipment.
Inspect, measure and work with various pipes and pipe fittings.
Identify maintenance issues and assist with troubleshooting mechanical problems.
Use basic hand tools and equipment to complete maintenance tasks.
Perform routine maintenance to help ensure equipment operates efficiently.
Utilize basic computer skills for maintenance-related tasks and documentation.
Follow established safety procedures and workplace guidelines.
Assist with additional maintenance duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year of experience in a skilled trade, craft or general maintenance position.
Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver's license by the date of hire.
Basic computer skills required.
Ability to accurately measure pipes and pipe fittings.
Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, tools and maintenance procedures.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous electrical or plumbing experience strongly preferred.
Experience maintaining or repairing pumps, motors or piping systems.
Familiarity with water supply systems, lift stations or similar mechanical equipment.
Additional Information
Indefinite temporary assignment.
Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule.
