A food manufacturing company is seeking some Food Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians (3rd Shift) to join their team in Garden Grove, CA. This position is responsible for the support of production and logistics through repairs, adjustments, and improvement of utility equipment. A high school diploma, Electrical experience schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams, and basic knowledge of foods safety. This is a full-time, in-person, non-exempt position with excellent benefits and 401k.
One shift available: 3rd shift (9pm to 6am/9:30pm to 6:30am)
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Duties:
-Respond to service request from Production and the other departments
-Perform appropriate trouble shooting, repair or improvement
-Perform scheduled maintenance to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment
-Improve production efficiency, energy consumption, amount of waste, maintenance cost, work safety and work environment with continuous effort
-Communicate with shift supervisor and coworkers to complete work order
-Maintain tools, machine parts, supplies and workshop well
-Input Work Orders using CMMS (eMaint)
-Manage and operate utility equipment including but not limited to electric switch gears, boiler, air compressor, chiller, ventilation
-Conduct company project helping maintenance manager and related department
Manufacturing Maintenance Technician Skills:
-Must have a high school diploma
-Must have 2 years of maintenance technician experience
-Must have ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings and process flow diagrams
-Must know foods safety basics
-Must be able to lift 50lbs
