Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Quality Engineer to join our team, focusing on troubleshooting production quality issues and resolving customer concerns. This role offers an advanced career pathway in the Automotive industry, working alongside global OEM leaders to enhance vehicle lines.
Responsibilities
- Assist operations with troubleshooting production quality issues and resolving customer issues.
- Help establish process controls and product test requirements while monitoring product performance.
- Lead failure analysis and corrective action efforts.
- Interpret test results, write reports, and effectively communicate with plant personnel and customers.
- Interface with other engineering personnel to establish process controls and product test requirements.
- Maintain appropriate quality records, including certifications and inspection records.
- 5 years of relevant Quality Engineering experience.
- Exposure to Automotive OEM Supplier quality practices and procedures.
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in engineering or manufacturing.
- Experience working with quality management tools (PPAP, APQP, CAPA).
- Process improvement experience using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, 5S, A3, and 5D.
- Experience in using Statistical Process Controls, TS16949, and ISO9001.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and diesel engine processes.
- Prior work experience with automotive PPAP process and customer interface is preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
