Quality Engineer

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Quality Engineer role in Cincinnati, OH. Key Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements.
· Monitor and analyze production and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
· Conduct inspections, audits, and validations of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
· Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.
· Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives.
· Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications (e.g., ISO, GMPs, or industry-specific standards).
· Support new product introductions and process changes with risk assessments and quality planning.
· Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and records related to quality performance and investigations.
· Assist with supplier quality management, including evaluations and corrective actions when needed.
· Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
· Previous experience in a quality engineering or quality assurance role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
· Strong understanding of quality systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
· Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Familiarity with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements is a plus.
