Electrical Designer

The Electrical Designer is tasked with creating detailed designs in AutoCAD for various commercial and retail projects. This role involves developing initial design concepts for lighting equipment and electrical components within building interiors. Once the initial designs are completed, they will be submitted to the Professional Engineer (PE) for review and approval.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed electrical designs using AutoCAD for commercial and retail projects.
• Develop initial design concepts for lighting and electrical components in building interiors.
• Submit design drafts to the Professional Engineer for review and approval.
• Incorporate feedback from the PE to finalize designs for construction.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in electrical design.

• Proficiency in Revit is a plus.
• Familiarity with NEC standards.
• Experience in drafting and construction.

This is a fully onsite position with minimal travel required, approximately 2%-5% to job sites out of state, which will be covered by the company.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Allentown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
