Quality Analyst 5 - Data Center

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Analyst to join our team onsite in Cheyenne, WY. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting. You will play a critical role in ensuring software quality and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Execute test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Test system modifications to prepare for implementation.
• Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, or usability.
• Document software defects using a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers.
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content.
• Monitor bug resolution efforts and track successes.
• Create or maintain databases of known test defects.
• Plan test schedules or strategies in accordance with project scope or delivery dates.

• Associate's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
• 10 years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.
• Proficient in writing test documentation such as Test Plans, scripts, and test result reports.
• Ability to analyze and interpret test results and provide recommendations to improve testing.
• Experience with software testing and quality assurance methodologies.

• Experience working in the Cheyenne region is preferred.
• Proficiency with relevant software used by the team.
• A drive and never-fail attitude with good attendance.

This position requires working onsite in Cheyenne, WY, from Monday to Friday, with a 50-hour workweek. The role involves using various testing technologies and bug tracking systems to ensure software quality. The work environment is dynamic, and candidates should be prepared to adhere to standard performance metrics such as schedule, safety, and cost.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Cheyenne, WY.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $68.00/hr.
