We are seeking a detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in CNC bending technology to transform complex engineering designs into high-quality finished components, ensuring our production output meets rigorous industry standards.
Responsibilities- Program and operate advanced CNC press brake systems to achieve precise metal forming results.
- Optimize production workflows by selecting and installing appropriate tooling configurations for diverse bend sequences.
- Translate complex blueprints and 3D CAD models into efficient machine operations.
- Drive quality assurance by performing thorough first-article inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers.
- Maintain equipment performance through proactive setup adjustments and routine operational oversight.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure project timelines are met with high accuracy.
Required Skills
- Proven experience operating CNC press brake machinery in a high-precision environment.
- Strong proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and complex engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate and adjust bend allowances for material accuracy.
- Capability to perform physical tasks, including handling metal sheets and standing for extended periods.
Preferred Skills
- Direct experience with Trumpf CNC controls and software interfaces.
- Familiarity with modern fabrication software like Touchpoint, BendMaster, or Boost.
- Background in high-tolerance sheet metal fabrication.
