Director of Preschool

Job Summary
The Pre-School Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for young children. The Director provides leadership to staff, maintains compliance with regulations, and promotes strong relationships with families and the community.

Duties

• Manage and supervise all preschool staff, including teachers
• Develop and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment
• Oversee enrollment, admissions, and student records
• Conduct staff evaluations, training, and professional development
• Communicate effectively with parents and address concerns
• Manage the school budget, supplies, and resources
• Organize school events, meetings, and activities
• Promote the preschool within the community

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
• At least 4 years of experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of child development and early education practices
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
