Job Summary
The Pre-School Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment for young children. The Director provides leadership to staff, maintains compliance with regulations, and promotes strong relationships with families and the community.
Duties
- Manage and supervise all preschool staff, including teachers
- Develop and implement curriculum aligned with early childhood education standards
- Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive learning environment
- Oversee enrollment, admissions, and student records
- Conduct staff evaluations, training, and professional development
- Communicate effectively with parents and address concerns
- Manage the school budget, supplies, and resources
- Organize school events, meetings, and activities
- Promote the preschool within the community
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum of 12 credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field
- At least 4 years of experience working in a preschool or early childhood setting
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of child development and early education practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay: Up to $25.00 per hour
