This role centers on responsive teaching, sensory exploration, relationship-based learning, and outdoor experiences grounded in child development and play-based education. What You Will Do: Create Joyful Learning: Facilitate developmentally appropriate, play-based learning experiences using nature as an extension of your classroom.Explore the Outdoors: Guide children through outdoor experiences in all Vermont seasons, including gardening, nature walks, water play, loose parts play, and sensory exploration.
Foster Development: Support language, literacy, and social-emotional growth through conversation, songs, storytelling, dramatic play, and shared experiences. Promote physical development through climbing, balancing, digging, and outdoor movement. Nurture Relationships: Provide consistent, gentle guidance that fosters children's emotional security, confidence, and emerging independence.
