Our client is a digital advertising company. They seek a Technical Accounting Manager to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document complex accounting issues, estimates, new standards, and significant transactions
- Manage end-to-end processes for key technical areas, including analysis, training, and compliance.
- Prepare and review GAAP- and SEC-compliant disclosures for Forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Support global accounting close activities by reviewing journal entries, analyzing technical areas, and assisting other teams
- Strengthen and maintain technical accounting processes, controls, and SOX compliance
- Develop and update accounting policies, documentation, and implementation of new accounting standards
- Partner with FP&A, Legal, and R&D teams to align on accounting impacts and provide training as needed
- Guide, review, and mentor other accountants on technical accounting matters
- Coordinate with external auditors on technical accounting and financial reporting requests
Requirements
- 5-8 years of technical accounting experience
- Commercial industry required
- SEC reporting experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills
- Detail-oriented and analytical
- CPA required
