Our client is a law firm. They seek a Well-Being & Benefits Generalist to join their Manhattan, NY office.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees, addressing questions on health, welfare, and firm benefit programs
- Guide attorneys, paralegals, and staff through eligibility rules, enrollment processes, and available resources
- Promote the firm’s well-being and benefits offerings to increase awareness, understanding, and participation
- Support employees with insurance claim inquiries, including research, resolution, and dispute settlement
- Manage day-to-day administration of group benefit plans, maintaining strong relationships with insurance carriers and vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years of employee benefits administration experience
- Knowledge of the terms and conditions of health and welfare plans
- Able to ensure the proper administration by insurers and vendors
- Exhibit knowledge of benefit practices
- Possess well-developed, professional interpersonal skills
- Able to interact effectively with strong service skills
