What you’ll do
- Deliver full-scope outpatient pediatric care for patients from birth through young adulthood (up to 24 years).
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
- Provide preventive care, wellness exams, and immunizations.
- Manage a typical patient panel of about 16–18 patients per day.
- Keep accurate, timely medical records and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship, supporting a positive, collaborative learning environment for students, residents, and fellows.
Work schedule & setting
- Monday–Friday schedule
- 40-hour work week
- Outpatient-focused practice, with optional inpatient participation for interested providers
- Faculty role with teaching responsibilities
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent)
- Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Eligible for or holding a West Virginia medical license
- DEA registration required by start date
