We are seeking a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Seattle, Washington. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established emergency medicine team with a variety of shift options and weekend coverage.
Position Highlights
- Varied 9-hour shifts based on facility needs:
- 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM
- 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekend coverage required
- No on-call requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a broad range of acute and emergent conditions.
- Perform appropriate emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice.
- Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing, laboratory studies, and imaging.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Provide appropriate disposition, including admission, discharge, or transfer.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- Active Washington medical license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS
- Current DEA registration
