Experienced Grinder (Blanchard Rotary Surface Grinder) – Precision Manufacturing
Bridgeport / $18-$20 per hour / PTO, 401K, Bonus (no medical insurance) / Contract – to - Hire
Are you an experienced grinder looking to bring your skills to a small, tight-knit manufacturing team in Bridgeport? Our client is seeking someone who’s confident operating rotary surface grinding equipment – specifically someone with knowledge of Blanchard-style machinery.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operate Blanchard rotary surface grinding machinery to produce precision flat surfaces.
- Work from engineering drawings and job specs to meet part specifications.
- Inspect final pieces using micrometers and other precision tools.
- Perform routine maintenance and make adjustments to ensure high-quality output.
What We’re Looking For
- Solid experience with rotary surface grinders – Blanchard experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Skilled in precision measuring techniques and tools.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
