Position Overview
The Commercial Estimator / B2B Sales Estimator is responsible for developing and closing commercial renovation and compliance-driven projects across California, with focus on multi-family buildings, HOAs, apartment complexes, and hotels.
This role combines structural inspection, estimating, and relationship-driven B2B sales. The position supports exterior elevated element inspections, prepares detailed repair estimates, and converts compliance requirements into contracted projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with HOAs, property managers, and commercial clients
- Identify and develop B2B opportunities across California
- Conduct site visits and inspect exterior elevated elements such as decks, balconies, and stair systems
- Perform required sampling and assess structural integrity, water damage, and decay
- Prepare detailed compliance reports and cost estimates
- Present proposals and negotiate contracts
- Coordinate project handoff to operations after award
- Manage multiple commercial accounts simultaneously
Qualifications
- Licensed Architect, Civil Engineer, Structural Engineer, or qualified California Building Contractor preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction or structural experience
- Strong estimating background in commercial or multi-unit projects
- Experience working with HOAs and property management companies
- Strong B2B sales and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage large-scale commercial pipelines
