Job Summary:We are seeking caring, dependable, and patient caregivers to join our team. As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assist clients with daily living activities while promoting independence and overall well-being.
Responsibilities: * Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) * Support clients with mobility and transfers * Prepare meals and assist with feeding if needed * Administer medications (if trained/authorized) * Maintain a clean and safe environment * Document care and daily activities accurately * Provide companionship and emotional support * Follow all company policies and state guidelines
Requirements: * High school diploma or GED * Caregiving or healthcare experience preferred * CPR/First Aid Certification (or willing to obtain) * Level 2 Background Screening (required) * Valid driver’s license (preferred) * Reliable transportation * Must be compassionate, patient, and dependable
Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with individuals with disabilities * APD training (or willing to complete required courses) * Medication administration experience
