What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Companion position at Your Personalized Care Services, LLC?
We are looking for compassionate Caregivers to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in accordance with an established Support Plan. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow disabled persons to remain in their homes.
Hours vary by consumer needs and case (Saturday and Sunday 9am-1pm
Responsibilities for a provider is to assist individuals in their homes with activities of daily living while also assisting to meet their goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Complete daily living skills
- Attend medical appointments
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
- Housekeeping/Laundry/Organizing
- Cooking
- Shopping
- Observation
- Documentation
- Physical stamina and ability to lift/move heavy objects or assist with transfers as required.Skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Able to engage consumers in conversations
- One year of experience (required)
- High school degree or equivalent (required)
- Current CPR certificate (MUST be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross and American Safety & Health Institute ONLY)
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a Level 2 background check.
