Head of Partnerships – Loyalty Scheme
Location: United States - NYC
Compensation: $180,000–$190,000 base ~$350,000 OTE equity
Overview
The company is seeking a Head of Partnerships for its Loyalty Scheme to design, scale, and manage an end-to-end ecosystem of reward partners. This leader will be responsible for category strategy, partner sourcing, commercial negotiation, and ongoing optimisation of partner performance.
The role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution, requiring a leader capable of building a loyalty partnership network from the ground up while balancing both customer experience and margin performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the full partnership strategy across travel, lifestyle, retail, and business services categories.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing structures, and margin-sharing terms.
- Build and manage key relationships with airlines, hotels, OTAs, loyalty networks, and premium brands.
- Drive partner performance analysis and refine the partner mix to protect program economics.
- Work with Product and Finance to integrate partner offerings and align on reward design and redemption cost optimisation.
- Establish scalable frameworks for sourcing, onboarding, and partnership governance.
- Represent the partnership function internally and externally at industry or commercial discussions.
Ideal Experience
- 8–12 years in loyalty partnerships, co-brand / travel partnerships, card rewards, or loyalty strategy.
- Ideally big card experience (AMEX etc)
- Proven success building and managing a partner ecosystem.
- Strong commercial negotiation and contract structuring experience.
- Deep understanding of loyalty economics, redemption behaviour, and partner P&L impact.
Salary : $180,000 - $350,000
