Job Details:
- The Department of Administration's Division of Capital Asset Management & Maintenance (DCAMM) is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our team.
- This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive and customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional manner.
- Scan, organize, and maintain electronic and physical documents.
- Create, prepare, and distribute correspondence and other administrative materials.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and special events.
- Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and data entry as needed.
- Support department projects and perform additional administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of administrative experience in a professional office environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat .
- Previous experience scheduling meetings and managing calendars is preferred.
