Registered Nurses

Contract: 3 Months to long-term

Shift: 7:00AM -7:00PM

Job Description for Registered Nurse:-

• Provide acute psychiatric nursing care, with a minimum of one year of psychiatric nursing experience, and maintain an active West Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Oversee and coordinate the work of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while participating in treatment team meetings and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient conditions, manage medical emergencies, and communicate with physicians to meet patient care needs.
• Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records, respond appropriately to families and advocates while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality, and testify in court or commitment hearings when required.
• Deliver all nursing services in accordance with facility policies, procedures, applicable laws, and the required professional standard of care.

Requirements:

• WV State RN license
• BLS/CPR certification
• At least 1 year of recent psych experience
