Summary/Objective
The Field Service Technician installs our equipment, provides onsite maintenance services, and troubleshoot in the field in varying environments. As a main contact person for our customers, the Field Service Technician represents Zund and must therefore identify themselves closely with the company, products, and clientele.
What you would do:
- Install and service digital finishing equipment
- Complete paperwork related to the installation and service of digital finishing equipment
- Troubleshoot via phone support for customers
- Provide customer service on related equipment and products
- Follow up with service-related issues to make sure they are resolved and documented
- Learn software related to digital finishing equipment
- Train customers on use of cutters and related software both onsite and virtually
- Setup and takedown equipment and participate during trade shows
- Follow written procedures and service manager's directions
What we require from you:
- Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Willing to work flexible hours and overnight travel up to 80%
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic and self-motivated
- Good team player that is honest, and dependable
- Problem solver that has pride in workmanship
- Strong desire for customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
