The Business Development Enablement Specialist position will work with the Business Development Representative (BDR) Team and report to the Revenue Enablement & Execution Team. This person will be responsible for training, coaching, and driving the right behaviors on the BDR team. This person will be working with new hires and seasoned BDR reps to support onboarding, coaching/methodology, cold calling, product whiteboard/demonstrations, and advanced career preparation. This person will also act as a liaison between BDRs and DataRobot’s enablement, marketing, and product teams. Key Responsibilities: Own the BDR onboarding process, including creating, updating, and facilitating new hire training as needed in partnership with BDR Leaders, including conducting regular audits/assessments and determining how best to reduce time to value. Own the onboarding experience by conducting role plays, certifications, and other training exercises to ensure that new starters are primed to perform in role once they complete onboarding. Implement, maintain, and provide training on agreed-upon core competencies to the BDR team (skills, tools, product, process, methodology) Serve as a point person for new hires throughout the ramp period to best assess the learning and development needs or changes within the onboarding process. Implement standardized best practices sharing for the team to help uncover and qualify new opportunities. Build strategic relationships with Business Development leaders and reps. Collaborate with front-line managers to jointly create development plans for tenured reps based on core competencies, conduct ongoing competency assessments, and proactively design tailored programs to support. Use and manage Global enablement tech stack in conjunction with Tooling, Systems, and Marketing Operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience: Understanding of the sales mindset and the training and retention concepts Team player who can work with multiple BDRs and Managers Desire to want to help others succeed Intellectual curiosity and a desire to be challenged Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with stakeholders in all GTM departments A self-starter with the ability to learn quickly and work independently in a busy-but-fun environment Ability to pivot quickly when necessary, without sacrificing quality Superior communication, presentation, and detail orientation skills are a must Good organizational and program execution skills Involvement and participation in sales enablement groups or communities (ideal) Experience clearly communicating and successfully presenting information Intermittent travel required as needed (20%) Familiarity with business development prospecting and lead management tools (i.e Outreach) Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales enablement, business development /revenue-facing roles, sales training, or sales support, and a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, and technologies in each of these areas The talent and dedication of our employees are at the core of DataRobot’s journey to be an iconic company.
