The staff at The Zoo Health Club are committed to the highest level of professionalism and customer service.

Sales representative will be responsible for actively generating club revenue while developing and working together with sales and front desk staff. This is an hourly and commission based position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sell memberships to walk in customers
• Set appointments through referrals and leads
• Establish corporate membership programs
• Develops and implements sales policies and procedures for department
• Light cleaning/organizing
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, typing and standing for long periods of time
• Maintains professionalism and appearance, when not assisting members; avoids eating, sitting, reading, Internet surfing, or any other activities that are not work-related
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent team and leadership skills
• A comprehensive understanding of sales operations
• Must be highly motivated and energetic and organized
• Ability to multitask
• An understanding of health club operations
• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as necessary

REQUIRED EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Must have experience in sales
• Experience in a health club or the hospitality industry is preferred
• College degree preferred
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications or will be provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour
