Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated School Nurse to join our team. The School Nurse will play a crucial role in providing healthcare services to students, promoting wellness, and ensuring a safe and healthy school environment.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct health assessments and screenings for students
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Provide first aid and emergency care as needed
- Develop and implement individual healthcare plans for students with chronic conditions
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics
- Maintain accurate health records and documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and school staff to promote student well-being

Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures
- Knowledge of sonography techniques
- Understanding of anatomy and physiology
- Ability to perform spinal taps when necessary
- Experience in conducting physical examinations
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities
- Previous work in a medical office setting
- Skill to phlebotomize for blood tests
- Competence in catheter care

This position requires a valid nursing license. Experience as a nurse is preferred. The School Nurse must have excellent communication skills, be compassionate, and have a strong sense of empathy towards students' well-being.

Pay: Up to $33.00 per hour
