ZIPS Dry Cleaners is looking for high energy, reliable and enthusiastic Cashier / Front Counter Associate to add to our team.

We are specifically looking for part-time and full-time employees specifically for our PM/Closing shift. Cashier / Front Counter Associate focus on assisting customers at the front counter bringing in garments and performing other key tasks in the store as assigned by the Store Manager.

Essential job functions

Cash Register/Customer Check-in and Pick up:

• Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Greet and assist all customers in a courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and timely manner.
• Administer the ZIPSsoft point of sale system and accurately perform all functions.
• Follow established customer drop-off procedures.
• Follow established customer pick-up procedures.
• Follow safety and security guidelines provided by the franchise owner.
• Complete all other assigned duties in a timely manner.

Garment tagging:

• Administer the ZIPSsoft point of sale system and accurately perform all applicable functions.
• Follows established tagging procedures.
• Maintain tagging production standards.
• Stage completed lots to designated area for cleaning.
• Follow safety and security guidelines provided by the franchise owner.
• Complete all assigned duties in a timely manner.

Garment Assigning:

• Verify that each order has the correct number of garments as indicated on the order ticket.
• Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Verify that each order has the correct number of garments as indicated on the order ticket.
• Scan the barcode location on the conveyor.
• Scan the order ticket barcode and hang the order in the location scanned. Maintains conveyor organization and order as designated by the franchise owner.
• Follows safety and security guidelines provided by the franchise owner.
• Completes all assigned duties in a timely manner.

No experience required.
