· Cashiers’ Job Description

· Assist Customers in a courteous, enthusiastic, helpful and timely manner.

· Administer the ZIPSsoft Point of Sale system and accurately perform all functions.

· Follow established Customer drop-off procedures.

· Keep accurate count of customers’ garments during drop-offs.

· Follow established Customer pick-up procedures.

· Perform an accurate hanger count during pick ups.

· Follow the company’s safety and security guidelines

· Complete all assigned duties in a timely manner

· Ensures that the lobby stays clean at all times.

· Can also assign orders on the conveyors if necessary

· Monitor Recycle Bins in the lobby to a prevent them from overflowing with hangers

· Follow proper cash handling as implemented by the company.

· Assist the Front Counter Manager or the Store Manager in addressing the items on the opening or closing checklist.

· May be required to handle both tagging and the cash drawer.

Reporting Relationship

The Counter Associate reports directly to the Front Counter Manager if the Store Manager is absent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
