As the Director of Operations at Zip Appliance Repair & Service in Bakersfield, CA, you will hold a key leadership position responsible for the overall success of both field and back-office operations. Reporting to you will be the Office Manager, General Sales Manager, and Field Manager. Your primary responsibilities include budgeting, expense approvals, managing relationships with third-party warranty and OEM customers, and setting the overall operational direction of Zip Appliance Repair & Service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership:
- Manage and provide leadership to the Office Manager, General Sales Manager, and Field Manager to ensure their success and alignment with company objectives.
- Budgeting and Expense Management:
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for the organization, ensuring financial stability and efficiency.
- Review and approve expenses in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Customer Relationships:
- Manage and nurture relationships with third-party warranty and OEM customers, ensuring excellent service and growth of business partnerships.
- Operational Strategy:
- Set the overall direction and strategy for the operational aspects of Zip Appliance Repair & Service.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to drive efficiency and success.
- KPI Development and Measurement:
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and improve the performance of various departments within the organization.
Qualifications:
- Proven management background with experience in successfully leading teams and departments.
- Strong budgeting and financial management skills.
- Ability to hire and develop a high-performing staff.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive organizational success.
