Senior Copywriter

(hybrid, Dallas, TX)

Initially known for the Ziosk tableside tablet, our team has developed a portfolio of products thoughtfully designed for the restaurant technology space for over 15 years. With devices in multiple U.S. restaurant locations, we are continually expanding our services. Key clients include Chili’s. Yard House, Olive Garden, Red Robin, and Texas Roadhouse.

Ziosk seeks a dynamic Senior Copywriter to join our innovative marketing team. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in shaping the voice of Ziosk and its suite of restaurant technical solutions. We're seeking a conceptual thinker with a keen eye for detail and a knack for selling ideas. Your creative skills will be utilized across various projects, spanning campaigns, digital ads, social media content, and more. Familiarity with the restaurant and hospitality industry is key, as you'll craft messaging that resonates with industry leaders. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do, so you will work across disciplines to deliver outstanding brand experiences.

Responsibilities: (hybrid)

• Continuously refine the brand voice, messaging, and positioning of our solutions
• Lead the creation of diverse content, including web pages, press releases, blogs, presentations, email campaigns, and more
• Interpret creative direction and technical information and turn them into persuasive copy concepts
• Proof, recommend edits and refine all client facing copy and marketing assets
• Conduct research and simplify complex topics into easily understandable language
• Collaborate with PR, Marketing and across departments to brainstorm and develop a variety of marketing materials

Qualifications:

• 5 years of creative copywriting and editing experience in a corporate or advertising agency environment. Experience in restaurant/hospitality. Experience in tech and/or payments is preferred but not essential.

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, marketing, or equivalent, plus

• Exceptional grammar and writing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to distill complex concepts into clear, human-centric messaging
• Proven experience producing copy for print and digital campaigns
• A positive attitude and willingness to advocate for your ideas
• Interest in leveraging data to inform creative decisions
• Adaptability in tone and language based on audience
• Passion for brand development and differentiation
• Experience in fostering a collaborative culture among the team
• Familiarity with performance-based marketing strategies
• Proficiency with common office software
• Experience with SEO concepts and social media marketing
