Toddler Teacher Assistant

Zion Christian Early Learning Center is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Toddler Teacher Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Being physically active with the children
• Assist lead teacher as necessary with children aged 18 months to 3 years
• Interact with the student’s classroom teacher to create a supportive learning environment
• Implement lesson plans and daily schedules for the classroom with lead teacher
• Create and maintain a safe learning environment
• Assist with diaper changes and potty training
• Establish and maintain positive student-teacher relationships
• Communicate with parents
• Develop and maintain professional skills (e.g., teaching materials, webinars, trainings)
• Attend evening staff meetings as schedule

Qualifications:
Minimum of a CPL 2 or an associate degree or associate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or an additional two years of experience in a licensed childcare facility or preschool providing qualified early childhood teaching experience (or equivalent work experience) preferred.

Must pass a BCI/FBI

Pay: From $13.21 per hour
