Zing Recruiting in partnership with a leader in the automotive industry in Smyrna, TN are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. This is a great opportunity to showcase your skills and contribute to the smooth operation of our facilities.
Job Description: As a General Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the overall performance and appearance of our facilities. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our facilities are safe, efficient, and visually appealing.
Shift: Days 7am-3:30pm
Pay: $25/hr.
Contract: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs.
- Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC repairs as required.
- Respond to maintenance requests from various departments.
- Maintain and repair building systems and equipment.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications a plus.
