Salary Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Hourly

Our Line Cooks are passionate about food and collaborate with our kitchen team to deliver great food to our guests every time they visit. They must work well within a team, thrive in a busy environment, while constantly striving to make every guest feel at home.

Responsibilities:

  • Display working knowledge of all ingredients and preparation used on the menu
  • Follow company recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
  • Maintain a fully stocked station throughout each shift and ensure that all food meets company standards
  • Consistently ensure station is clean and organized
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and embody an environment of teamwork
  • Demonstrate an eagerness to refine skills and desire to learn and grow
  • Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Handle varying levels of business volume with composure & a positive attitude
  • Perform all opening and closing duties assigned by managers
  • Follow all safety and state guidelines for preventing transmission of Covid-19 and other illnesses

Qualifications


Job Qualifications:

  • A team player with a positive attitude

  • Strong organizational time management skills, ability to multitask
  • Communication and collaboration skills
  • 1 year in a line cook position at a casual dining restaurant or similar experience
  • Basic food, kitchen equipment and prepping knowledge
  • Must be able to read tickets on screen
  • Food handlers certification
  • Work Authorization: United States Citizen or Undocumented Noncitizen authorized to work in the United States

Work Context:

  • Working with hot foods and beverages
  • Walking and standing for long periods of time
  • Tasks will be performed using and in the proximity of coolers, stoves, and other hot equipment
  • The employee may frequently be required to stoop, kneel, and crouch for duration of shift (eight hours or longer)
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move and/or push up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a typical office and restaurant environment
