Zimmerman Metals, Inc. is looking for a skilled Lathe Machinist to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and Manual Lathes
• Maintain machine by conducting PM, replacing fluids, and adjusting machine for operations
• Receive and interpret prints for a variety of parts
• Prepare finished parts for shipment

Required Skills and Attributes

• 2-4 years of experience operating a CNC or Manual Lathe
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Must be self-sufficient with setups
• Ability to read, write and adjust G-Code
• Must have experience working with materials such as low carbon steel, stainless, high carbon, aluminum, etc.
• Must have own tools to perform work duties
• Capable of programming using Mastercam or fusion 360 (preferred but not required)
